  • Built-in NCV live-wire detector
  • Silicone shock holster with 45° kickstand

Features

Check Battery and Alternator

Check Battery and Alternator

Set the meter on its kickstand, touch the probes to the battery posts, and read resting voltage. Start the engine to confirm alternator output, typically 13.8V to 14.5V.

Detect Live Wires Without Contact

Detect Live Wires Without Contact

Switch to NCV and hold the top edge near an outlet or cable. The red LED lights up if the wire is live, no leads needed.

  • Instant Continuity

The buzzer fires as soon as the tips touch, so you can sweep a 40-slot fuse block in about 30 seconds.

  • Readable in the Dark

A 2.8-inch backlit LCD with 18mm digits means no flashlight in your mouth under the steering column.

  • 6000-Count True-RMS

Reads 12.64V or 14.28V to the hundredth, and stays accurate on noisy household AC. Three times finer steps than a 2000-count meter.

  • Dual Ceramic Fuse Protection

F600mA and F10A ceramic fuses plus PTC overload protection. Probe the wrong setting by mistake and the meter survives.

  • NCV Non-Contact Detector

Hold the top edge near a wire or outlet. A red LED and beep warn you about live voltage before you touch anything.

  • Kickstand & Silicone Holster

Props at 45° on a radiator support so both hands stay free. Rear slots hold the probes so they don't stab you in the drawer.

    Read the Result

The backlit screen locks onto the exact voltage, like 12.64V, with no range adjustments.

In the box

  • 1 × Cosari VoltGuard 6000 Digital Multimeter in Silicone Shock Holster
  • 1 × Set of AAA Batteries (Pre-Installed)

Care & safety

  • Turn the dial to OFF after use. The 15-minute auto power-off saves the batteries, but switching off fully gives the longest battery life.
  • Store the probes in the rear holster slots and keep the meter out of standing water. Wipe the silicone holster with a damp cloth; avoid solvents and brake cleaner.
