Features

Score the Glaze
The bronze 4-blade cross-spear bites into the slick surface and cuts a 2mm dimple without drifting off your mark.

Core Through Dry
The diamond bit seats in the dimple. As friction builds, the internal wax softens and cools the rim while you cut through 10mm porcelain.

Finish Into the Wall
Pop out the tile plug through the side slot, then switch back to the carbide bit to drill into the stud or backer board.
Two-Stage Hybrid System
A carbide twin for every diamond bit, so you start centered and finish into the backing without clogging the core.
Thermal Burnout Protection
Internal wax keeps the diamond rim cool enough to avoid the melted tips and burn rings common with dry carbide bits.
Crack-Free Results
Controlled starts and lower heat put less stress on tile that's already set in mortar. Your waterproofing stays intact.
Zero-Walk Cross-Spear
Four tungsten-carbide cutting edges grip glossy glaze on the first rotation and score a clean starter dimple right on your pencil mark.
Wax-Cooled Diamond Core
Solid paraffin inside each barrel softens at 140°F and cools the vacuum-brazed diamond crown, so you can drill dry on vertical walls.
Quick-Change Hex Shank
1/4-inch hex shanks lock into 3-jaw and quick-change chucks without spinning, even under load.
How to use it
- 1
Chuck Up & Set Rotary
Snap the carbide cross-spear bit into your drill and set the collar to standard rotary mode, hammer off.
- 2
Dimple, Then Core
Score a 2mm dimple on your mark, switch to the diamond bit, and core through dry with a light circular wobble.
- 3
Anchor & Mount
Tap your wall anchor into the clean hole and screw your bracket, grab bar, or towel rack in place.
In the box
- 1 × Set of 5 Tungsten-Carbide 4-Blade Cross-Spear Bits (3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2")
- 1 × Set of 5 Wax-Filled Vacuum-Brazed Diamond Core Bits (3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2")
- 1 × Slide-Lock Storage Case with Size Markings
Care & safety
- Wipe dust off each bit after use and store it in its marked slot so diamond rims don't knock against each other. Clear any trapped tile plug through the side slot before the next hole.
- Never use hammer mode or heavy pressure. If cutting slows, back out, let the bit cool for a minute, and resume with a light circular wobble. On thick stone, a drop of water extends bit life.

Questions
Do I need water to cool these bits?
No. Each diamond core bit is pre-filled with solid paraffin wax that softens at about 140°F and cools the cutting edge as you drill, so vertical walls stay clean and dry. On very thick natural stone, a single drop of water can extend bit life further.
What sizes are included?
You get two bits in each of five sizes: one carbide cross-spear bit and one diamond core bit in 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2". That covers standard plastic wall anchors and most toggle bolts.
How do I stop the diamond bit from skating on glossy tile?
Score a 1 to 2mm dimple first with the matching carbide cross-spear bit, then seat the diamond bit in it. If you skip the starter, angle the diamond bit at about 45° and rock it upright once it bites.
Will these fit my cordless drill?
Yes. Every bit has a 1/4-inch hex shank that fits standard 3-jaw drill chucks and quick-change hex chucks from DeWalt, Milwaukee, Ryobi, Makita, and others.
Should I use hammer mode?
Never. Hammer mode will crack porcelain and damage the diamond rim. Set your drill to standard rotary mode, run 1,500 to 2,500 RPM, and use light pressure with a small circular wobble.
What do I do after I'm through the tile?
Switch back to the carbide cross-spear bit in the same size to drill into the stud, drywall, backer board, or mortar behind the tile. This keeps the diamond tube from packing with debris.
