Why do some LEDs look like they are off?

Those are the 830nm near-infrared nodes. Near-infrared is invisible to the human eye. Point your phone camera at the inside of the mask in a dark room and you will see them glowing.

Do I need separate goggles?

No. Dark silicone eye shields are built into both eye openings to keep light out of your eyes. Never stare directly into the LEDs.

Will it get hot or affect melasma?

LED therapy is low-heat. In our IR thermometer checks the mask stayed lukewarm. If you have melasma or a skin condition, check with your dermatologist before starting.

Do I wear it over skincare?

Use it on clean, dry skin. Apply serums, retinoids, and moisturizer after your session. Heavy oils and thick creams can block some of the light.

How often should I use it?
