Why it outlasts big-box sprinklers: Most oscillating and turbo sprinklers use sealed gearboxes with tiny nylon teeth. A single grain of calcium can jam them, leaving a stuck stream that floods one spot. The HydroSpin 360 has no gearbox. Water pushing through angled brass jets turns the arms directly, so grit simply flushes through.

Compatibility and pressure: The swivel inlet is standard US 3/4-inch GHT and seals with thick EPDM washers. Rotation starts at about 22 PSI, and full 3,600 sq ft coverage comes at 55 to 65 PSI. It works with smart hose timers such as B-hyve and Orbit.

Settings for wind and new seed: Twist the arms to 15° for a low, wind-resistant sweep of 18 to 24 feet. Twist to 45° for a high arc out to 32.8 feet with soft, rain-like droplets that will not wash out fresh seed.

Will it fit my standard American garden hose?

Yes. The inlet is a native 3/4-inch US GHT swivel collar, so it threads onto standard 5/8-inch and 3/4-inch hoses. A snap-lock quick-connect adapter is also in the box.

Does it work with low water pressure?

It starts rotating at about 22 PSI. Throw gets shorter at lower pressure, and full 3,600 sq ft coverage arrives between 55 and 65 PSI. At 40 PSI in our test it still covered a radius of roughly 22 to 24 feet.

Can I connect two or three units on one hose?

Yes. Unscrew the side outlet cap and run a hose to the next unit. Two units work on most home water supplies; three depends on your flow rate and pressure.

Will it wash away new grass seed?

Set the arms to the 45° high-arc position. The droplets fall more vertically and gently, which kept our overseeded test patch in place.

Is it loud enough to bother neighbors at dawn?

No. It measured under 42 dB in our test because there is no impact arm and no gearbox. The brass impact sprinkler we tested reached 74 dB.

Will the sun crack the base?
