Why Wallhush

Why homeowners are ditching traps & poison

You don’t want a dead mouse. You want the mice out.

  • No traps to check

Nothing snaps, nothing to empty or reset. Plug it in and leave it on.

  • No poison in the house

No rodenticide in cabinets where kids open doors and dogs eat anything.

  • Nothing to clean up

It doesn’t kill anything, so there’s no dead mouse behind the stove.

  • Room by room

Walls block ultrasound, so you put one unit in each room you hear them in.

How it works

A shifting sound mice avoid.

Wallhush doesn’t catch anything. It fills the room you protect with a shifting high-frequency sound that makes it uncomfortable for mice.

At night a hand plugs the white USB adapter into the wall outlet above the Wallhush unit on a low shelf
01

Plug it in where you hear them

USB-C cable into the unit, the 5 V adapter into the wall. Set it 10–50 inches off the floor, front facing into the room, nothing in front of it.

  • Plug-in, no batteries
  • 3–5 W, about $4–8 a year
The Wallhush display up close, glowing blue
02

Three wave modes, one sweeping sound

It sweeps across 25–65 kHz, so it never settles on one steady tone. Pick the mode that fits the room. One mode runs at a time.

Ultrasonic
The everyday mode for rooms you live in.
Pressure wave
The maker’s pick for overnight.
EM · audible
Loud on purpose. Only when nobody’s in the room.
Dramatization: at night a mouse heads away from the lit Wallhush unit toward a gap at the bottom of the wall
03

Keep it running, close the gaps

Mice prefer quiet, sheltered spots. Keep the unit running, close the way back in, and the protected room stops being one of them.

Good to know before you buy

  • Works best with the way back in sealed: gaps, vents, door sweeps.
  • Pet hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice or gerbils at home? Not for those rooms.
  • Droppings every day? Start with a licensed pest pro.

Inside Wallhush One

Small unit. Six honest specs.

  • 3 wave modes

Ultrasonic, pressure wave and EM. One at a time, picked with one button.

  • 25–65 kHz sweep

The frequency keeps moving, second to second, instead of one steady tone.

  • Clear display

The round LCD shows the mode and that the unit is running.

Wallhush One, a charcoal unit with a round blue-ringed display, a front speaker grille and perforated sides
  • Plug-in USB-C, 5 V

Cable and wall adapter in the box. No battery, nothing to recharge.

  • 3–5 W draw

About $4–8 a year to run all day, every day.

  • Strobe light on/off

An LED strobe you can switch off for rooms you use at night.

Pets, honestly

25–65 kHz overlaps what dogs and cats can hear. Watch how yours react, and move or switch off the unit if they seem bothered. Keep it out of rooms with pet hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, pet rats, pet mice or gerbils.

The smart swap

Move them out instead of cleaning them up.

Traps and bait deal with a mouse after it’s in. Then someone has to empty the trap, or find the one that died in the wall.

What Wallhush won’t do

  • It won’t reach the next room. Walls block ultrasound, so it’s one unit per room.
  • It won’t kill anything, so there’s nothing to clean up.
  • It won’t replace sealing the gaps, or a licensed pro for droppings every day.
  • It isn’t silent to everyone. Some people and pets can hear it.

Placement tips

Jonas, our product tester, sets up a house.

Jonas is the Wallhush product tester character. These are our placement tips, not test results or reviews.

Jonas placing a unit on a low pantry shelf
Low shelf, open front. “In the pantry it goes on the bottom shelf, about knee height, nothing stacked in front.”
Jonas plugging the wall adapter into a garage outlet
Find the outlet first. “It needs a socket within cable reach. In the garage that decided the shelf.”
A Wallhush unit on a garage shelf
EM only when it’s empty. “The garage gets EM mode during the day when nobody’s out there. You will hear it.”

Close the way back in

  • Seal gaps. Steel wool into gaps around pipes, vents and cables, caulk over it.
  • Door sweeps. No gap under garage and exterior doors.
  • Close the pantry. Grains and pet food into hard containers with lids.
  • Clear the floor. Boxes block the sound and give cover. Shelve them.
  • Droppings every day? Call a licensed pest professional and follow their plan first.

FAQ

Straight answers.

How many units do I need?

One per enclosed room where you’ve seen, heard or smelled signs. Ultrasound doesn’t pass through walls, floors or closed doors, so a unit in the kitchen does nothing for the attic. Pick 1, 3 or 6, or set any number from 1 to 50.

Do more units cost less each?

Yes. The price per unit drops as you add units: $59.99 for one, $49.99 each for two, $44.99 each for 3–5, $39.99 each for 6–9 and $34.99 each for 10 or more. The bundles and the + and − buttons use the same prices.

The maker says up to 4,000 sq ft. Why one per room?

4,000 sq ft is the maker’s rating for open space. Homes aren’t open space. Walls and furniture block and absorb ultrasound, so we’d rather you cover each room than rely on one unit.

Will the mice come back?

They can, especially if there’s an easy way in. That’s why we ask you to seal entry points and keep each unit running. Still seeing fresh droppings after that? Call a licensed pest professional, and use our 30-day returns if Wallhush isn’t for you.

How long until I notice a difference?

We don’t promise a timeline. Every home is different. Seal the gaps, keep each unit running, and use our 30-day returns if it’s not for you.

Is the video real?

No. The video at the top is a dramatization of how Wallhush is meant to be used, made for this page. It is not a recording of a real home or proof of results.

Will I hear it?

Possibly. The maker describes ultrasonic and pressure wave as a “small sound”: quiet, but some people, especially kids and teens, can hear them. EM mode makes a sharp sound on purpose, so use it only when nobody’s in the room.

Is it cordless or battery powered?

No. Wallhush is a plug-in device. It runs on the included 5 V USB adapter through the USB-C port and has no battery.

Does it use my home’s wiring?

No. Wallhush runs on a 5 V USB adapter. It isn’t connected to your home’s wiring and doesn’t send anything through it.

What about pets?

Keep it out of rooms with pet hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, pet rats, mice or gerbils. Dogs and cats may hear it. Watch how yours react and move or switch off the unit if they seem bothered.

What does it cost to run?

At 3–5 W, one unit running all year uses about 26–44 kWh. At $0.17 per kWh that’s roughly $4–$8 a year.

What if it’s not for me?
